Buenos Aires, Argentina (Best E Casino) - Nestor Gorosito resigned just two matches into the current season as coach of Argentinean club San Lorenzo.

Gorosito, 40, informed his players of the decision during practice on Tuesday. San Lorenzo has not yet decided on a new coach, but a decision is expected soon.

San Lorenzo is coming off a disappointing 3-0 loss to Boca Juniors on Saturday and has earned just one point after two matches during the Argentina Apertura.

'Pipa', as Gorosito was known during his playing days, starred at San Lorenzo during the late 80s and early 90s. His best season was the 1988/89 season when he scored 21 goals in 37 league matches.

Gorosito had been the coach at San Lorenzo since July of 2003. His record with the club was 21-12-12.
