(Best E Casino) - The Detroit Red Wings will try to get back in the win column tonight when they continue their lengthy road trip with a battle against the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center.

The Red Wings, who lead the Central Division with 64 points, had won a season- high six straight games heading into Monday's game in Dallas. The Stars notched an overtime decision over Detroit, meaning the Wings have still recorded at least a point in eight straight games (6-0-2).

Tonight marks the second of six straight away from the Motor City for the Red Wings. The road trip is the longest of the season for Detroit, which is 13-4-4 as the visiting club this year, but has lost six of its last nine road tests. Next up for Detroit is Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Kings.

The Red Wings were handed a 5-4 setback Monday as Trevor Daley's goal 1:51 into overtime capped a late rally and sent the Stars to victory at American Airlines Center.

On the game-winner, Matt Niskanen carried up the slot and faked a shot before passing to Daley 10 feet behind him. His initial shot was saved by Chris Osgood, who roamed 15 feet beyond his net to make the stop with his stick. The puck worked its way loose into the crease, where Daley poked it home ahead of a Wings defender.

Pavel Datsyuk had a goal and two assists for the Red Wings. Brian Rafalski, Marian Hossa and Tomas Holmstrom scored for Detroit, which could not take home the victory despite leads of 3-1 and 4-3.

Osgood took the loss despite stopping 44 shots and fell to 14-2-5 on the season.

The Ducks ended a two-game slide their last time out, posting Sunday's close victory over visiting New Jersey. Chris Kunitz scored a pair of goals in the third period, including the eventual game-winner, as Anaheim clipped the Devils, 4-3, at Honda Center.

Bobby Ryan and Samuel Pahlsson also tallied for the Ducks and Jean-Sebastien Giguere needed just 18 saves for the win, his 12th of the season.

Ryan Getzlaf also notched an assist in the win and now has recorded one goal and seven helpers during a six-game point streak.

Tonight marks the end of a three-game homestand for the Ducks, who are 13-9-3 as the host and have won three of their last four on home ice. Anaheim will begin a five-game road trip Friday in Pittsburgh.

Anaheim and the Red Wings have split a pair of meetings this season with each team winning a game on their home ice. In fact, the home team has won two straight and nine of the last 11 tilts in this series.

The Ducks have won three of five overall against the Red Wings and Detroit has dropped four of five at the Honda Center.
