Toronto, ON (Best E Casino) - The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Wednesday the acquisition of forward Brad May from the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks received a conditional sixth round draft pick in 2010.

"Brad will provide character, toughness, and he is a proven winner," said Leafs president and general manager Brian Burke. "We look forward to the veteran leadership the he will give our team."

The 37-year-old May, a member of the 2007 Stanley Cup champion Ducks, has played in 20 games for Anaheim this season, collecting five assists with 28 penalty minutes and has registered a plus-five rating.
