(Best E Casino) - One of the best teams in the NBA visits one of the worst, as the Los Angeles Lakers close out a three-game road trip tonight against the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center. The Lakers are 1-1 so far on the trek and 6-1 as the visitor this season after Wednesday's 114-102 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center. Kobe Bryant scored 10 of his game-high 32 points in the fourth quarter and also grabbed six rebounds and handed out four assists to lead the way. Pau Gasol added 22 points and 13 rebounds while Andrew Bynum contributed 18 points for the 15-2 Lakers, who had their seven-game winning streak snapped by a last-second tip-in against Indiana on Tuesday. Washington has lost three of four games and will close out a quick two-game homestand Friday night versus the Lakers. In Wednesday's 98-92 setback to the rolling Portland Trail Blazers in the opener of the residency, Antawn Jamison scored a team-high 22 points and recorded five assists for the Wizards, who have lost eight of 10 to fall to just 3-13 on the season. Caron Butler chipped in 16 points and five rebounds while Andray Blatche and Nick Young each had 11 points in defeat. The Wizards have dropped three in a row at home and are 2-7 as the host in 2008-09. Los Angeles went 2-0 against the Wizards last season and has won three straight and 11 of the past 16 encounters. These two teams have split the last six meetings in DC.
