Philadelphia, PA (Best E Casino) - ARIZONA: Although the Wildcats fell to USC by a slim 17-10 margin, the score does not fully detail how much Arizona was outplayed by the more talented Trojans. Arizona tallied a meager 188 total yards of offense in the contest, and that includes just 100 yards rushing on 3.3 ypc. Nic Grigsby did most of the damage with 69 rushing yards and one touchdown in the loss, while Keola Antolin added 51 yards on nine totes. Sadly enough the passing attack was much worse, as Willie Tuitama completed just 14-of-30 passes for 88 yards. The quarterback was also intercepted once and sacked three times. The Wildcats will get a weekend to regroup, but then the team will return to the field on November 8th when the Wildcats head to Pullman to battle the Washington State Cougars.

ARIZONA STATE: The Sun Devils walked into this year with so much promise, but after suffering their fifth consecutive loss, this season can be chalked up as a disappointment. This past weekend, ASU was no match for Oregon, as the Ducks pounded the Sun Devils, 54-20. The defense for ASU was simply embarrassed from start to finish, as Oregon racked up 537 total yards, including 304 rushing yards on a whopping 7.1 ypc. The team was not overly impressive on the other side of the football either, posting just 333 total yards, with three turnovers. Rudy Carpenter did not have much success under center, throwing for just 146 yards and one score on 17-of-33 passing. However, Carpenter also tossed two interceptions and was sacked three times. It does not get any easier for ASU, as the team will now have to take on Oregon State in Corvallis.

CALIFORNIA: The Golden Bears collected their fifth win of the season when they pounded UCLA, 41-20 this past weekend. It was an impressive performance for Cal, which limited the Bruins to just 253 total yards. Cal forced four turnovers in the contest, two of which were return for touchdowns. On the other side of the football, the Golden Bears racked up 385 total yards, including 232 rushing yards on 5.5 ypc. Jahvid Best led the way with 115 yards and one score, while Shane Vereen added 99 rushing yards on just 14 carries. Kevin Riley only completed 11-of-22 passes in the win, but finished with 153 yards and two scores. The Golden Bears will try to remain in the running for the Pac-10 title when they host the Oregon Ducks this Saturday afternoon.

OREGON: The Ducks grabbed their second consecutive victory this past Saturday with a convincing, 54-20 victory over Arizona State. The Ducks were unstoppable in the victory, as Oregon pounded ASU for 537 total yards of production. The majority of the Ducks' success came from the ground game, which churned out 304 yards on 7.1 ypc. Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli led the way with 85 rushing yards and also scored once, while Jeremiah Johnson and LeGarrette Blount both rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns apiece. Masoli was not as impressive with his arm, throwing for 147 yards and one score. The Ducks will remain on the road this weekend when they battle the California Golden Bears in Berkeley.

OREGON STATE: The Beavers were not in action this past weekend, as the team used a much needed bye week to regroup and prepare for Arizona State this Saturday. The Beavers have won four of their last five games, including two straight. The last time OSU was on the gridiron, the team grabbed a 34-13 win over Washington.

STANFORD: The last time the Cardinal were on the field the team suffered a heartbreaking, 24-21 setback to UCLA. The loss dropped Stanford's ledger to 4-4 on the year, and that includes the team's 3-2 mark in Pac-10 action. The Cardinal were not in action this weekend, giving the team time to rest and regroup for the upcoming meeting with Washington State.

UCLA: The Bruins were no match for the Golden Bears this past weekend, as UCLA was pounded by Cal, 41-20. The Bruins were unable to stop the Golden Bears from gashing their front line for 232 rushing yards on 5.5 ypc. At the same time the Bruins' ground game struggled, as UCLA finished with just 16 yards on 22 carries. The passing attack wasn't much better, as Kevin Craft threw for 206 yards on 17-of-35 passing. Craft also tossed four interceptions and was sacked three times. The Bruins will not have to suit up this upcoming Saturday, but the team will return from its bye week with a tough matchup against Oregon State on November 8th.

USC: Since falling to Oregon State back on September 25th, the Trojans have won four straight contests, including a solid, 17-10 win over Arizona this past weekend. USC relied heavily on a strong defensive showing, as the team limited the Wildcats to just 188 total yards, including just 88 yards through the air. Offensively, the Trojans used a strong ground game to keep Arizona at bay, as the team rumbled for 151 yards. Stafon Johnson did most of the damage, as the tailback paced the team with 83 yards and one touchdown. QB Mark Sanchez did not have his best performance of the year, but the quarterback did finish with 216 passing yards and one touchdown. The Trojans will have another easy matchup this upcoming Saturday when the team invites the Washington Huskies to town.

WASHINGTON: The Huskies were unable to grab their first win of the season this past Saturday, as the team was pounded by Notre Dame, 33-7. The Huskies had no answers for the ground attack of Notre Dame, as Washington was gashed for 252 yards on 5.1 ypc. Unfortunately, the Huskies were just as pathetic offensively, as the team tallied just 124 total yards, including just 26 rushing yards on 23 carries. The passing game was not much better, as Ronnie Fouch completed just 11-of-25 passes for 98 yards and one score. The signal caller felt pressure throughout the game and was sacked four times. It does not get any easier for Washington, which will now have to take on the USC Trojans this upcoming Saturday.

WASHINGTON STATE: The Cougars were not in action this past weekend, and that is likely a good thing for WSU, which has been embarrassed time and time again this year. The last time the Cougars were on the field the team was dismantled by USC, 69-0. It was the fourth straight loss for the Cougars, who will try to return to the win column this weekend against Stanford.
