Pittsburgh, PA (Best E Casino) - Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes was ruled inactive for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, a day after Pittsburgh police discovered marijuana in his vehicle. Holmes is expected to face marijuana possession charges after police pulled over his SUV Thursday and discovered the drug. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin did not suspend the 24-year-old, who has 22 receptions for 360 yards and a touchdown for the 5-1 Steelers this season. In other bad news for Pittsburgh, running back Willie Parker missed his second straight day of practice and is listed as doubtful for Sunday. Parker suffered a sprained left knee during Pittsburgh's 15-6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on September 21 and has not played since, missing wins over the Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals. The five-year veteran has gained 263 yards on 66 carries with three touchdowns this season.
