Lake Forest, IL (Best E Casino) - The Chicago Bears placed rookie defensive back Zack Bowman on injured reserve Wednesday. The 23-year-old Bowman suffered a biceps injury during last Sunday's 48-41 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. The 6-foot-1 cornerback recovered a muffed punt for a touchdown and intercepted a Gus Frerotte pass late in the game to preserve the win for Chicago. In a related move, Chicago signed safety Terrence Holt to its 53-man roster. Holt intercepted eight passes in four seasons with the Detroit Lions before signing with the Arizona Cardinals as an unrestricted free agent in 2007. After being released by Arizona during the offseason, Holt signed with Carolina but was released by the Panthers prior to the start of the 2008 season.
