Toronto, ON (Best E Casino) - Montreal running back Avon Cobourne was among the top players for the CFL in Week 14. Cobourne was awarded offensive honors as he helped the Alouettes to a 37-12 pasting of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Cobourne totaled 125 yards on 17 carries in his first game back after missing the previous three games with an ankle injury. He also had two receptions for eight yards en route to his second weekly award this season. British Columbia defensive end Cam Wake earned the defensive award as he led his team in a 40-10 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He had nine tackles and a league-high three sacks in the home victory. Ward leads the league with 18 sacks, which is twice as many as any other player in the league. It is his third weekly award this season. Winnipeg returner Jason Armstead nabbed the special teams award as he had an 84-yard punt return as the Blue Bombers edged the Edmonton Eskimos, 30-23. He returned four punts for a total of 150 yards and also added two kick returns for 41 yards. His 191 combined yards led the league last week. The top Canadian player for the week was Saskatchewan wide receiver Rob Bagg, who had six catches for a league-high 146 yards in the Roughriders loss to the Alouettes. In the game, he had receptions of 72 and 49 yards.
