Montreal, QC (Best E Casino) - Anthony Calvillo threw three touchdowns to lead the Montreal Alouettes to a 37-12 thrashing of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Calvillo completed 27-of-39 passes for 287 yards and one interception for the Alouettes (9-4), who have won two straight and seven of their last eight games overall. Avon Cobourne rushed for 125 yards and one score, while Ben Cahoon caught eight balls for 91 yards. Jamel Richardson had eight grabs for 88 yards and one touchdown. Michael Bishop went 23-of-42 passing for 364 yards with two interceptions for the Roughriders (8-5), who have lost three games in a row. Rob Bagg had six receptions for 146 yards. Luca Congi supplied all the offense, kicking four field goals. Trailing 3-1 after the first quarter, the Alouettes ripped off 21 unanswered points to go up 22-3. Adrian McPherson's one-yard plunge got things started, then Calvillo threw touchdowns passes of 23 yards to Kerry Carter and 16 yards to Richardson. Congi's 40-yard field goal made it a 22-6 game at halftime. Following the break, Congi knocked through a 21-yarder, but Calvillo's 10-yard strike to Brian Bratton gave the Alouettes a 29-9 lead. Congi booted a 22- yarder in the waning moments of the third quarter. In the fourth, Cobourne punched it in from a yard out, and Montreal tacked on another single later in the quarter.
