Cincinnati, OH (Best E Casino) - Cincinnati Bengals starting quarterback Carson Palmer, suffering from a sore throwing elbow, will be replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Palmer, who will serve as the team's No. 3 signal-caller, has experienced soreness during practice this week after being sacked six times last Sunday in an overtime loss to the New York Giants. Palmer has completed 52-of-90 passes for 514 yards with just one touchdown and three interceptions this season. He's also been sacked nine times and his passer rating of 63.8 is 12th among 15 AFC quarterbacks. Fitzpatrick, a Harvard graduate, has passed for 777 yards with four touchdowns and eight interceptions in seven career games with the Bengals and St. Louis Rams.
