Toronto, ON (Best E Casino) - Montreal quarterback Anthony Calvillo was among the top players for the CFL in Week 13. Calvillo was awarded offensive honors as he helped the Alouettes to a 40-4 romp of the Edmonton Eskimos on 31-of-38 passing for a CFL-high 414 yards and two touchdowns. He completed passes to seven different receivers in the contest. On the season, he leads the league with a 67.7 completion percentage, 3,971 yards and 28 touchdowns with only eight picks. He also leads the league with a 106.7 passer efficiency rating. Montreal defensive end Jermaine McElveen won defensive honors with three sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in the win against Edmonton, just his second career game in the CFL. British Columbia kicker Paul McCallum nabbed the special teams award as he was 6-for-6 on field goals on his way to a 19-point game in the Lions' 27-21 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The top Canadian player of the week was Saskatchewan running back Stu Foord, who had eight carries for 37 yards with a touchdown and also had a 55-yard touchdown reception in the Roughriders' loss to the Lions. Playing in place of the injured Wes Cates, he reached the end zone on the first carry of his CFL career, an 18-yard score in the second quarter.
