Washington, DC (Best E Casino) - The Washington Wizards signed free agent forwards DerMarr Johnson, Linton Johnson and Taj McCullough on Monday. Per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed. DerMarr Johnson, the sixth overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, has played for four different teams in his seven-year career. In 344 career games with the Hawks, Knicks, Nuggets and Spurs, the Cincinnati product, who suffered from four cracked vertebra in his neck following a car accident in 2002, has averaged 6.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Linton Johnson has played in 141 career games over five seasons with the Bulls, Spurs, Nets, Hornets, Suns and Raptors with averages of 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per outing. McCullough logged 11.6 points and 5.8 rebounds as a senior for NCAA Tournament qualifier Winthrop last season.
