Chapel Hill, NC (Best E Casino) - North Carolina quarterback T.J. Yates is expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks because of a fractured left ankle. Yates was hurt during Saturday's game against Virginia Tech. Initial x-rays were negative, but an MRI exam on Sunday revealed a small non-displaced fracture that will not require surgery. Instead, the sophomore will undergo treatment and rehabilitation. In three games this season for the 2-1 Tar Heels, Yates has completed 40-of-66 passes for 623 yards with six touchdowns and just one interception.
