Winnipeg, MB (Best E Casino) - Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Matt Sheridan will require season-ending shoulder surgery. The eight-year veteran has a torn labrum, a cyst that needs to be removed and a collarbone injury. "After repeated attempts to treat the shoulder in a non-invasive manner, it wasn't getting any better," said Sheridan, a University of Manitoba product. "Imaging discovered the problem. Now, moving forward, my first and most immediate priority is to get this shoulder back to 100 percent." Sheridan, 31, will be placed on the nine-game injured list.
