St. Louis, MO (Best E Casino) - The St. Louis Blues announced Thursday that defenseman Erik Johnson will be sidelined for the first three days of training camp after injuring his right knee in a non-hockey related incident. Johnson, 20, will be re-evaluated over the weekend and his status will be updated prior to Tuesday's preseason game against the Dallas Stars. The first overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Johnson enjoyed a solid rookie campaign in 2007-08, registering five goals and 33 points in 69 games for the Blues, who went 33-36-13 to finish last in the Central Division.
