New York, NY (Best E Casino) - Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu and Tennessee Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck took the AFC's top honors for Week 2 of the NFL season. Marshall, offensive player of the week, hauled in a franchise-record 18 receptions for 166 yards with one touchdown in the Broncos' controversial 39-38 win against San Diego. Marshall's 18 receptions tied former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tom Fears (18 receptions vs. Green Bay on December 31, 1950) for the second most receptions in a single-game in NFL history. The NFL record is held by Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens, who had 20 receptions with San Francisco against Chicago on December 17, 2000. Polamalu, defensive player of the week, recorded his second interception of the season and added four tackles with one tackle for a loss and two passes defensed as the Steelers defeated the Browns 10-6. Bulluck blocked a punt and recovered the ball in the end zone for a touchdown, giving Tennessee a 24-7 lead -- the eventual final score -- over the Bengals early in the fourth quarter to take the special teams player of the week award. The Titans' defensive captain also notched four tackles on the NFL's second-ranked defense as Tennessee started the season 2-0 for the first time since 1999.
