Toronto, ON (Best E Casino) - Calgary quarterback Henry Burris was among the top players for the CFL in Week 12. Burris nabbed offensive honors as he helped the Stampeders to a 41-30 victory over the Montreal Alouettes. Burris completed 24-of-38 passes for 408 yards and a CFL-season-high five touchdowns without tossing an interception. He finished the contest with a 143.3 passer rating and also added 35 yards on the ground. Eskimos cornerback Jason Goss earned defensive honors after registering a CFL- season-high three interceptions, including two he returned for touchdowns, to help his team to a 38-33 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He finished with a franchise-high 144 yards on interception returns, which was also the second highest in CFL history. British Columbia returner Stefan Logan took the special teams award as he totaled 128 yards on four kick returns and added 48 yards on five punt returns in the Lions' 28-23 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The top Canadian player of the week was Eskimos running back Calvin McCarty, who replaced the injured AJ Harris against Hamilton, and totaled 72 yards on nine carries with a score and added a CFL-high eight catches for 88 yards.
