Toronto, ON (Best E Casino) - Montreal teammates Avon Cobourne and Damon Duval, and Saskatchewan linebacker Maurice Lloyd were honored as CFL Players of the Month for August. Cobourne earned offensive honors for the Alouettes by rushing for more than 100 yards in each of his three games and adding two touchdowns. He leads the league in rushing yards with 815 and has 487 receiving yards. Cobourne's seven total touchdowns rank third in the CFL. Lloyd came away with the defensive award after registering 19 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in the month. Duval picked up the special teams honor to round out the monthly accolades. He made 11 of 13 field goals, including a 52-yarder, and was a perfect 9-for-9 on converts. Duval's 47 points led all players in August.
