Jacksonville, FL (Best E Casino) - Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham sustained a right ankle injury in Saturday's preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will not return. Abraham, who was acquired in a three-way trade with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets in March of 2006, started every game for the Falcons last season, recording 10 sacks and 32 tackles. Originally selected by the Jets in the first round (13th overall) of the 2000 draft, Abraham has totaled 67 1/2 sacks and 313 tackles over 97 career games. |
