Toronto, ON (Best E Casino) - Edmonton quarterback Ricky Ray was named CFL Offensive Player of the Week Wednesday. He was joined in Week 6 honors by a pair of Toronto Argonauts, defensive end Jonathan Brown and return specialist Dominique Dorsey. Ray completed 23-of-30 passes for a league-best 392 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Eskimos to a 35-24 win over the British Columbia Lions at Commonwealth Stadium. Ray also ran the ball six times for 18 yards and two touchdowns. Brown had his best game of the season, recording two sacks and a tackle for a loss in the Argonauts 19-11 win over Winnipeg to earn Defensive Player of the Week. Dorsey was Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season after returning a punt 94 yards for a touchdown in the same game. Meanwhile, Montreal slotback Ben Cahoon was the Canadian Player of the Week after tallying nine receptions for 89 yards in the Alouettes 40-33 win over Hamilton.
