Arizona Diamondbacks, who play the second installment of a three-game series versus the
Pittsburgh Pirates at Chase Field.
Webb is 15-4 with a 3.04 earned run average in 23 starts this season, and 4-0 with a 2.63 ERA in his seven most recent trips to the hill. Webb continued his solid campaign on Thursday at the Los Angeles Dodgers, hurling eight dazzling innings of one-run ball in a 2-1 victory.
The right-hander, who is 6-1 in nine home starts this season, sports a 4-0 mark and a 2.41 earned run average over five career games against Pittsburgh. Webb defeated the Pirates on June 6 in the Steel City with seven frames of one-run, three-hit ball.
Arizona ended a two-game losing streak and won for the 10th time in 14 tries following Monday's 13-7 pounding of the Buccos in the opener of this series. Mark Reynolds homered and finished with three hits and three RBI to lead NL West-leading Arizona, which is 1 1/2 games ahead of the Dodgers in the division standings.

Zach Duke will take the ball for Pittsburgh on Tuesday and is 0-5 with a 7.23 earned run average in his last nine starts. Duke has dropped four outings in a row, including last Wednesday's meeting with Colorado. He allowed eight hits and six runs in five innings of a 7-4 loss.
The lefty has allowed five or more runs in five straight starts and is 0-3 with a 6.24 ERA on the road this season.
In three career starts versus the D'Backs, Duke is 1-1 with a 5.29 earned run average. He defeated Arizona in early June with six innings of two-run ball.
The Diamondbacks and Pirates split four games in Pittsburgh earlier this year.
