Philadelphia, PA (Best E Casino) - Vijay Singh won his first World Golf Championships event on Sunday and that helped him jumped 11 places to No. 4 in this week's Official World Golf Rankings. The injured Tiger Woods remained No. 1, but starting with Singh's jump, there were plenty of changes to the rankings this week. Phil Mickelson shared fourth behind Singh and remains No. 2, while Padraig Harrington held steady in third and was followed by Singh. Ernie Els and Sergio Garcia held steady in fifth and sixth, but the remainder of the top-20 changed from last week. Geoff Ogilvy inched up one to seventh and he was followed by Adam Scott, who tumbled four places this week. Stewart Cink slid two to ninth, while Steve Stricker and Henrik Stenson each dipped on to 10th and 11th respectively. Lee Westwood tied for second behind Singh and jumped seven places to 12th this week and was followed by Jim Furyk, K.J. Choi, Anthony Kim and Justin Rose, who all fell two spots apiece. Kenny Perry and Trevor Immelman both slipped one to 17th and 18th, while Miguel Angel Jimenez and Rory Sabbatini exchanged places with Jimenez up to 19th in the rankings.
