Jackson, MS (Best E Casino) - New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister was scheduled for an MRI on his left knee Saturday, after missing a morning practice session with the ailment. McAllister, who had the knee drained of fluid Friday, underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ACL in the same knee last September. The procedure also cleaned up the right knee, which was originally injured two seasons ago. The 29-year-old Ole Miss product missed the Saints final 13 games last season after suffering the ACL tear in Week 3. After missing the final 11 games of 2005 with torn ligaments in his right knee, McAllister bounced back with a banner season, becoming the first running back in club record books to record a fourth 1,000-yard season, rushing for 1,057 yards and 10 touchdowns on 244 carries.
