Vancouver, BC (Best E Casino) - Paul McCallum's 36-yard field goal with eight seconds left in the fourth quarter pushed the B.C. Lions past Montreal, 36-34, in a Week 5 clash from B.C. Place Stadium.
Jarious Jackson threw for 319 yards, one touchdown and a pair of interceptions on 22-of-41 passing for the Lions, who recovered from an 18-point deficit to record their third consecutive win.
Paris Jackson had five receptions for a game-high 124 yards and a TD. Joe Smith returned from a two-game absence, rushing for 97 yards and a score on 18 carries.
Anthony Calvillo completed 20-of-36 passes for 276 yards, three scores and two picks for the Alouettes, who have lost three in a row.
Avon Cobourne gained 127 yards on 14 carries. Brian Bratton added four receptions for 87 yards and two TD's while Kerry Watkins also had a touchdown catch.

McCallum hit from 28 yards with 5:18 left in regulation for a one-point game, and the Lions held the Als on consecutive possessions before McCallum drilled the game-winner.
The Lions defense stuffed Calvillo and Adrian McPherson, respectively, on the final two plays of the game.
McCallum hit a 30-yard field goal on the first possession of the game for a 3-0 Lions lead, and the Als countered on their next drive on a one-yard plunge by McPherson.
Montreal tacked on 10 more in the first quarter on Calvillo's eight-yard connection to Watkins, then a Damon Duval single and a 42-yard field goal.
McCallum nailed a 15-yarder with less than two minutes before the half to make it 17-6 and that score stood at intermission.
Montreal took the opening kick in the second half and embarked on a nine-play, 78-yard drive culminating with Bratton's four-yard reception to make it 24-6.
A 39-yarder by McCallum and Joe Smith's one-yard run got the Lions within eight, but Duval answered with a 33-yard make to put the Als ahead 27-16.

In Week 6, Montreal hosts Hamilton, while B.C. heads to Edmonton, both next Thursday...Lions receiver Geroy Simon broke the club's all-time receiving yards mark, passing Jim Young with five catches for 82 yards including a 19- yard reception in the first quarter that gave him 9,248 for his career.
