Tempe, AZ (Best E Casino) - The Arizona Cardinals signed cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Arizona's first round pick in this year's draft, to a six- year contract on Friday. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 16th overall pick out of Tennessee State, Rodgers-Cromartie was a third- team All-America selection last season after collecting 37 tackles, 11 passes defended and two interceptions, both of which he returned for touchdowns. He started 39 of the 44 games he appeared in during his career at Tennessee State and totaled 158 tackles, 11 interceptions and 26 passes defended. In addition, he had four interception returns for touchdowns, returned a fumble and a kickoff for touchdowns and blocked eight kicks.
