Cincinnati, OH (Best E Casino) - Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Josh Fogg was hit in the mouth with a line drive during batting practice Tuesday. Teammate Joey Votto hit a ball into the outfield that caught Fogg in the mouth. The right-hander needed 30 stitches to repair the split upper lip, and it is uncertain whether he will be available for his scheduled start Friday against the Colorado Rockies. Fogg is 2-2 with a 7.09 earned run average in 14 appearances -- seven starts -- this year, but has gone 1-0 with a 2.60 ERA in his past three starts.
