Kansas City, MO (Best E Casino) - The Kansas City Royals activated pitcher Leo Nunez from the 15-day disabled list on Monday and optioned pitcher Joel Peralta to Triple-A Omaha on Monday. Nunez has been on the DL since May 29 with a strained right lat. In 21 outings this season before the injury, he posted a 3-1 record with a 1.71 earned run average. Peralta has posted a 1-2 record with a 5.52 ERA in 24 outings over two stints with the Royals this season. |
