Atlanta, GA (Best E Casino) - The Washington Nationals placed first baseman Dmitri Young on the 15-day disabled list following Saturday's 8-2 win over the Braves. Young, a diabetic, missed his second straight start on Saturday. He was taken out of Friday's lineup after having high blood sugar. Paul Lo Duca started at first base both days. The Nationals also plan to recall third baseman Ryan Zimmerman, who has been out since May 26 with a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder. Zimmerman is expected to join the team for Tuesday's game in San Francisco. Zimmerman owns a .257 batting average with eight home runs and 27 runs batted in through 50 contests this season. Young is hitting .280 with four homers and 10 RBI in 50 games.
