Dallas, TX (Best E Casino) - The Dallas Mavericks have reportedly come to terms on a deal with center DeSagana Diop, traded away in the Jason Kidd deal last season, and with young swingman Gerald Green.

The Dallas Morning News reported the Diop deal on Thursday. The Mavericks announced the Green signing Thursday, but not the Diop contract.

The seven-foot Diop will sign a five-year deal that starts at the full-mid level exception, according to the News, which the paper said should be about $5.5 million for next season. The seven-year veteran averaged 2.9 points and five rebounds per game last season between the Mavs and Nets.

The 26-year-old was part of the February deal that brought Jason Kidd to Dallas. He owns career averages of 2.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game with the Nets, Mavs, and Cavaliers, who selected him eighth overall out of Oak Hill Academy High School in Virginia in 2001.

Green, 22, was picked 18th overall in 2005 by the Boston Celtics out of Gulf Shores Academy in Texas, and was part of the deal that brought Kevin Garnett to Boston. The 6-foot-8 swingman, who won the 2007 Slam Dunk Contest in Las Vegas, averaged 5.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game with the Timberwolves and Rockets last season.

"We're really excited about the addition of Gerald Green to the Mavericks family," said Mavs president Donnie Nelson. "He possesses youth, athleticism and is a young player we think has real upside."
