Pittsburgh, PA (Best E Casino) - The Tampa Bay Rays recalled first baseman Carlos Pena from the 15-day disabled list Friday, in time for the club's 10-5 drubbing of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pena, who has been out since June 3 with a broken left index finger, will not be in his usual cleanup spot in the lineup, as the six-foot-two, 215-pounder will be placed in the sixth slot against the Pirates. Pena went 0-for-3 with an RBI in the win. To make room for Pena, Tampa Bay optioned infielder Ben Zobrist to Triple-A Durham. The 27-year-old Zobrist homered in two straight games against the Marlins on June 25-26, and scored three runs.
