East Rutherford, NJ (Best E Casino) - The New Jersey Nets extended a qualifying offer to restricted free agent center Nenad Krstic on Friday. Krstic played in 45 games last season for the Nets -- 38 starts -- and averaged 6.6 point and 4.4 rebounds per contest. It was his first season since undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee in January 2007. In four NBA seasons, Krstic has averages of 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds. Krstic can sign an offer sheet with any team as a restricted free agent, but the Nets have the right to match the offer.
