Boston, MA (Best E Casino) - The Boston Bruins signed defenseman Mark Stuart to a multi-year contract extension on Tuesday. Stuart posted career-highs of four goals, eight points and 81 penalty minutes in all 82 games in 2007-08 for Boston. The Bruins' first-round pick (21st overall) in the 2003 draft has tallied five goals and 11 points over 114 games in the last three seasons. Boston finished 41-29-12 a year ago and bowed out in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals in a seven-game test against the Montreal Canadiens. |
