Philadelphia, PA (Best E Casino) - Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim infielder Maicer Izturis left Saturday's 6-2 win against the Philadelphia Phillies after the second inning because of tightness in his right hamstring. Izturis walked in his only plate appearance. Erick Aybar pinch hit for Izturis in the third and remained in the game at shortstop. Aybar was key to the victory, clubbing the go-ahead, two-run homer in the eighth inning. The 27-year-old Izturis entered play batting .266 with three home runs and 27 RBI in 55 games this season. |
