(Best E Casino) - Utah has three picks in this year's draft. The Jazz own one pick in round one (23) and two in the second round (44, 53).
All-Star forward Carlos Boozer and point guard Deron Williams give the Jazz two franchise players. Boozer led the club in scoring (21.1 ppg) and rebounds (10.4 rpg). while Williams played in all 82 regular-season games and averaged 18.8 points and a team-high 10.5 assists.
Ronnie Brewer, Matt Harpring, Andrei Kirilenko, Kyle Korver, Paul Millsap and Mehmet Okur make up a solid supporting cast for the Jazz, who won the Northwest Division crown for the second straight year.
Okur posted 14.5 points and 7.7 rebounds in 72 contests, while Brewer netted 12.0 per game and the athletic Kirilenko averaged 11.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists. Korver, who was acquired from Philadelphia in a trade during the season, helped the Jazz improve big time from the perimeter and Harpring continued his scrappy, hard-nosed play.
The Jazz will be targeting a big man. Georgetown's Roy Hibbert will most likely be the pick if he lasts until their selection. If Hibbert is not around, JaVale McGee of Nevada, Stanford's Robin Lopez and Ohio State's Kosta Koufos are all possible candidates to go at No. 23.
