Anaheim, CA (Best E Casino) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim activated infielder Erick Aybar from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday. Aybar landed on the DL when he dislocated his right pinky finger diving for a ball in the first inning of Anaheim's 3-1 victory over Toronto on May 20. Before the injury, Aybar hit .270 with 16 RBI and 21 runs scored in 43 games. Aybar went 1-for-4 at the plate in his return, a 5-4 loss in 10 innings to the New York Mets. To make room for Aybar, the Angels optioned infielder Sean Rodriguez to Triple-A Salt Lake. Rodriguez hit just .185 in 22 games with the big club this season.
