New York, NY (Best E Casino) - Major League Baseball has fined managers Cecil Cooper of the Houston Astros and Ron Gardenhire of the Minnesota Twins an undisclosed amount, as the two clubs failed to comply with pace of game regulations during their respective contests last weekend. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, games this season run an average of two hours, 51 minutes and 42 seconds, which is 5 1/2 minutes longer than five seasons ago, however, in 1981 games averaged 2:33. Cooper and Gardenhire are the first two managers to be punished under the new rule.
