New York, NY (Best E Casino) - Memphis guard Antonio Anderson and forward Robert Dozier were among the list of 48 early entry candidates who withdrew from the June 26 NBA Draft on Tuesday.

Dozier averaged 9.2 points and 6.8 rebounds for the Tigers last season, while Anderson averaged 8.6 points and started all 40 games for the national runners-up.

Also withdrawing were UCLA swingman Josh Shipp, who averaged 12.2 points per game for the Bruins in 2007-08, and Texas guard A.J. Abrams, who scored 16.5 points per game while sharing the backcourt with D.J. Augustin, who remained in the draft.

Forward Derrick Caracter, who has battled inconsistency through two years at Louisville, also elected to return to school.

Other players who decided to pull out of the draft include; Josh Akognon, Derek Bailey, Jason Bennett, DeMarre Carroll, Charles Carter, Josh Carter, Lee Cummard, Alonzo Gee, Paul Graham III, Lester Hudson, Stefon Jackson, Leo Lyons, Jeremy Pargo, Courtney Pigram, John Riek, Kiwan Smith, Ronald Steele, Robert Vaden, Lorrenzo Wade, Gordon Watt and Raymond Wright.
