Pittsburgh, PA (Best E Casino) - The Pittsburgh Pirates activated catcher Ryan Doumit from the 15-day disabled list following Thursday's 4-3 win over Houston. Doumit was placed on the disabled list on May 14 with a fractured left thumb. He is hitting .350 with five home runs and 15 RBI in 29 games this season. To make room for Doumit, the club optioned catcher Ronny Paulino to Triple-A Indianapolis. |
