LAWRENCEVILLE, Va. (AP) -Washington Wizards forward Andray Blatche was charged with reckless driving and driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop. Police stopped Blanche's car Wednesday morning on Interstate 85 in southern Virginia. He was driving 86 mph in a 70-mph zone, police said. The officer arrested Blatche because of the suspended license. Blatche posted $2,500 bond and was released. ``We are obviously disappointed in Andray's actions and expect him to use better judgment, especially in light of his past incidents,'' Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld said. ``However, we will handle this matter internally and will have no further comment.'' Last summer, Blatche was accused of trying to solicit sex from an undercover police officer. The charge was dropped after he attended a daylong seminar for men who solicit prostitutes. At the time, Blatche was also wanted for failure to appear on a charge of driving without a license. Shortly after the solicitation arrest, the Wizards signed Blatche to a five-year contract. He played in all 82 games last season and started 15. He averaged a career-best 7.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. In 2005, after Blatche was chosen by the Wizards in the second round, he was shot during a carjacking attempt in the Washington suburbs.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
