Oakland, CA (Best E Casino) - Detroit Tigers infielder Ramon Santiago left Wednesday's contest with the Oakland Athletics after injuring his shoulder while diving for a ground ball in the seventh inning. Santiago laid out to stop a Rob Bowen batted ball back through the middle and immediately rolled over in pain after partially deflecting the ball to second baseman Ryan Raburn. He was replaced by Edgar Renteria. Santiago was 1-for-2 with a walk before leaving and is now batting .361 (12-for-34) on the season with 11 runs batted in and 10 runs scored in 17 games.
