St. Louis, MO (Best E Casino) - The Houston Astros activated pitcher Wandy Rodriguez from the 15-day disabled list after Tuesday's 8-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Rodriguez had been on the disabled list since April 20 with a strained left groin. The 29-year-old will get the start for the Astros on Wednesday against St. Louis. The left-hander was 1-0 with a 2.31 earned run average in four starts for Houston this season, and was activated after allowing one run on four hits over six innings in a rehab start at Double-A Corpus Christi on Thursday. To make room for Rodriguez, the Astros designated struggling reliever Dave Borkowski for assignment. Borkowski was 0-2 with a 6.86 ERA in 18 appearances this season.
