Los Angeles, CA (Best E Casino) - Lamar Odom had a spectacular all-around performance with 20 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots, and the sharp-shooting Lakers continued their home success in the playoffs with a 101-71 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals.

Los Angeles rallied from a 20-point third-quarter deficit to win on Wednesday, 89-85, but there was little doubt to the result of Friday's contest after a dominating second half. The Lakers moved to 7-0 as the host in the postseason and have a 13-game homecourt winning streak, last losing at the Staples Center March 28 to Memphis.

Odom shot 7-of-10 from the field and Kobe Bryant tallied 22 points for the Lakers, who shot 54.9 percent from the field. Jordan Farmar ended with 14 points, Derek Fisher 11 and Pau Gasol 10 for the Lakers.

Tony Parker scored 13, and Tim Duncan finished with 12 points and 16 rebounds for San Antonio, which was outscored 55-34 in the second half and ended at 34.5 percent from the field. That included a 6-of-15 effort from Parker.

"I thought Tony was probably a little tentative tonight," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "He went to the basket fine, but I thought he had shots. He missed a couple and I thought he just backed away from it, didn't have confidence for whatever reason."

Manu Ginobili, struggling with an ankle injury, had just seven points on 2-of-8 shooting for the Spurs, who also finished 6-of-23 from three-point territory. They are 11-of-43 from beyond the arc in the series.

"Defensively we were able to step it up, keep our intensity up at all times," Odom said. "No second shots, clean the ball up off the boards and did a great job at running, getting open looks and making plays for one another."

The Spurs continued to struggle early on the road in a playoff series. They lost the first two games at New Orleans before rallying for a Game 7 road victory to advance to the conference finals. That marked the first time in franchise history the Spurs won a playoff series when trailing, 2-0, and the defending NBA champions are on the ropes again thanks to a 2-6 road mark in the playoffs.

Game 3 of the best-of-seven set is Sunday night in San Antonio.

"Nothing happens until we win on their court," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "When someone wins on the other team's court, then it makes a difference in this series. That's what the definition of it is going to be."

The Spurs have a 6-0 home mark in the postseason and have won 20 of their last 22 games at the AT&T Center.

"I think it will be a more physical game," Bryant said looking ahead to Sunday. "I think they will try to pick up the pressure, create some turnovers, get into transition so they can get some easy baskets. We really have to play the game close to our chest, be solid."

Two straight baskets from Duncan had the game tied at 37 with 2:14 left in the second quarter, but the Lakers responded with the next nine points. It started with a Gasol layup, and then Sasha Vujacic nailed a jumper and followed that with a three-pointer. Fisher's driving layup capped the spurt for the 46-37 halftime lead.

A layup from Fabricio Oberto had the Spurs within 48-41 just over a minute into the third quarter, but the Lakers then blew it open by pouring in the ensuing nine points, keyed by Bryant. He had the first five and Fisher's jumper capped the flurry for a 57-41 lead with 9:01 left in the period.

The margin was increased to 74-57 going into the fourth quarter, and a 14-3 run to open the final period made it a rout. Farmar's three-ball stretched it to 88-60 with 7:18 left.

Odom was the catalyst on the offensive side after his eight-point, eight- rebound performance in the opener.

"I was catching the ball in scoring position, trying to be as aggressive as possible," Odom said. "Finishing plays, I think that really helped us. When I get into the game it seems my team gets into it. They cheer for me. They keep me going. I definitely feed off their energy."

The Spurs, who never led, were within 17-16 late in the first, until the Lakers ran off the next four to end the quarter. It remained tight throughout most of the second, until the Lakers used their defense to change that after the half.

"We enjoy playing defense," Bryant said. "We enjoy getting after them. We feel like we have a lot of length, a lot of speed to go along with that. We try to use that to our advantage."

Game Notes

Lakers forward Trevor Ariza played in his first game since Jan. 17 due to a broken foot...The Lakers went 5-of-18 from three-point range...Los Angeles lost both of its games at San Antonio this season by a combined 27 points.
