Soriano, who was on the disabled list last month with a strained right calf, slugged seven home runs, including two multi-home run games on Friday and Saturday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He became the second leadoff hitter in the past 40 years with back-to-back multi-home run efforts. The six-time All Star added 14 RBI while batting .516 (16-for-31), helping Chicago stay atop the NL Central standings .
