David West was held to 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting and left early in the fourth quarter after re-injuring his back due to a Robert Horry pick. Tyson Chandler, who came into the game nursing a left foot injury, added 14 points for the Hornets, who are trying to advance to the conference finals for the first time in franchise history.
West is probable for tonight's contest. The All-Star forward is averaging 21.3 points and 8.5 rebounds in this year's playoffs.

San Antonio, which is playing in the postseason for the 11th straight year, advanced to the West semis for the eighth straight year. The Spurs knocked out Steve Nash and the sixth-seeded Phoenix Suns in five games in round one.
The Spurs have won four of their last seven trips to the West semis. They defeated the Suns, 4-2, last year in this round.
This is the first time the Hornets and Spurs have met in the playoffs.
