Los Angeles, CA (Best E Casino) - Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum, out since January with a knee injury, is unlikely to return this postseason, it was reported on Friday. According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, there have been no plans for Bynum, who has been out since January 13 with a bone bruise in his left knee and a subluxation of the kneecap -- a brief dislocation that popped back into place, to return to practice any time soon. Bynum told the newspaper that he has no swelling in his knee, but is still experiencing pain. The 20-year-old was in the middle of a breakout year before suffering the injury, averaging 13.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.1 blocked shots in 35 games. The Lakers finished off a four-game sweep of the Denver Nuggets on Monday in the first round of the Western Conference finals and will face the Utah Jazz in the conference semifinals. Pau Gasol, acquired from Memphis in February to make up for Bynum's absence, averaged 22.2 points and nine rebounds in the sweep of the Nuggets.
