(Best E Casino) - The Cleveland Cavaliers have picked a bad time to start slumping, as they close out a three-game homestand tonight versus the New Jersey Nets at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cavaliers are headed to the playoffs, but have lost two in a row and five of seven games. They are 0-2 so far on the homestand and fell to 25-13 as the host this season following Saturday's 101-86 setback to the Orlando Magic.

Delonte West led the Cavs with 19 points and four assists, while LeBron James hit just 6-of-22 field-goal attempts for 17 points. James also grabbed seven rebounds and handed out nine assists for the Cavs, who are seeded fourth in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

James (back spasms) and Ben Wallace (back spasms) are both questionable for Wednesday's game.

New Jersey is just 3 1/2 games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the eighth and final postseason spot in the East. It will open a three-game road trip tonight against the Cavs, Raptors and Bucks, and is 12-25 away from the Meadowlands this season.

The Nets ended a four-game losing streak with Saturday's 99-90 victory over Toronto, as Vince Carter finished with 32 points, seven rebounds and five assists to keep New Jersey's slim playoff hopes alive.

Richard Jefferson scored 28 points in a losing effort. Carter (ankle) and forward Josh Boone (knee) are questionable for Wednesday.

Wednesday's game between New Jersey and Cleveland is the fourth and final matchup of the regular season. The Nets are 3-0 so far this season and have won nine of 13 and 11 of the last 17 encounters with the Cavs.

New Jersey has lost five of eight and eight of its last 12 contests on the road in this series.
