(Best E Casino) - The slumping Washington Wizards wrap up a four-game road trip when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the Staples Center.

Washington has lost a season-worst eight straight games. On Monday, Stephen Jackson's four-point play sparked an unconventional surge from 23 points down, as Golden State rallied to stun the Wizards, 120-117, at ORACLE Arena.

Roger Mason poured in a career-high 32 points with six assists, while Antawn Jamison added 25 points and 10 rebounds and Brendan Haywood notched a double- double with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Wizards, who lost for the ninth time in their last 10 outings.

On the injury front for Washington, All-Star forward Caron Butler (strained left hip flexor) is questionable for Wednesday. Butler is averaging 21.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists this season. He has missed four straight games.

Guard Antonio Daniels (bone spurs in right ankle) is also questionable for Washington. The Wizards are 9-16 on the road this season and have dropped eight in a row as the visitor.

Washington's last road victory was on January 14th against the Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden.

Los Angeles opens a six-game homestand on Wednesday. Rookie Al Thornton led four players in double-figures with 25 points, as the Clippers held off the Milwaukee Bucks, 96-89, at the Bradley Center.

Veteran Sam Cassell ended with 21 points and eight assists, while Corey Maggette had 20 points -- including the final four -- for the Clippers, who have won three of their last five games overall. Cuttino Mobley contributed 12 points off the bench for Los Angeles, which wrapped up a seven-game road trip with a 3-4 record.

The Clippers are 9-15 at home this season. They will also host Memphis, Utah, the Lakers, Boston and Portland on the homestand.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. Washington is scheduled to host the Clippers on March 17th at the Verizon Center.

The teams split a pair of contests last season. The Clippers have still won four of the last five meetings in the series.

Washington has dropped three in a row at the Clippers.
