MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Minnesota Vikings safety Dwight Smith pleaded guilty to obstructing traffic and a charge of possessing marijuana was dismissed. Smith's attorney, David Valentini, said Tuesday that the player paid a $200 fine after pleading guilty to the petty misdemeanor Jan. 31, The marijuana charge was also a petty misdemeanor. Police cited Smith in December, saying he had a small amount of marijuana in his car outside a downtown Minneapolis strip club. In August 2006, Smith was cited for indecent conduct with a woman in a downtown Minneapolis stairwell.
