(Best E Casino) - The Philadelphia 76ers will resume a five-game homestand this evening versus the Los Angeles Clippers at the Wachovia Center. Philadelphia is 2-0 so far on the homestand and improved to 11-14 as the host this season with a 101-84 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday. Andre Iguodala scored 25 points and pulled down eight rebounds for the Sixers, who will also host the Mavericks and Grizzlies in South Philly. Andre Miller added 21 points and seven assists, while Willie Green chipped in 14 points in a winning effort. Rookie Thaddeus Young finished with 11 points and seven boards. Los Angeles will resume a seven-game road trip this evening and is 2-3 so far on the trek. It will also pay visits to Philadelphia and Milwaukee, and is 7-16 away from the Staples Center this season. In Friday's 102-98 victory over the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre, Corey Maggette tied a season-high with 35 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Los Angeles. Cuttino Mobley and Al Thornton each chipped in 19 points for the Clippers, who won for the second time in their last three games. Chris Kaman scored 16 points and pulled down 12 boards for his 30th double-double of the season. In team news for the Clippers, guard Sam Cassell is probable tonight after serving a one-game suspension. Cassell was penalized for committing a flagrant foul against Boston's Rajon Rondo on Wednesday. Clippers forward Tim Thomas left Friday's game with a sore back and is doubtful for Saturday. Friday's game between the Clippers and 76ers is the first of two meetings this season. Los Angeles is slated to host the 76ers on March 3 at the Staples Center. LA won both meetings against the Sixers last season and is unbeaten in the previous three encounters. The Clippers have lost nine of their last 10 trips to the City of Brotherly Love.
