Philadelphia, PA (Best E Casino) - Andre Iguodala scored 25 points and pulled down eight rebounds as Philadelphia upended Miami, 101-84, at the Wachovia Center.

The game was just the second in the post-Shaq era for the Heat. Miami traded Shaquille O'Neal, a 14-time All-Star and a key cog on their 2006 championship team, to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for forward Shawn Marion and guard Marcus Banks on Wednesday.

Marion and Banks were not available for the Heat in the game, however, and the short-handed Miami team managed to stick around for three quarters before faltering in the fourth.

Andre Miller added 21 points and seven assists for the Sixers, who have won the first two games of a five-game homestand. Willie Green chipped in with 14 points, while rookie Thaddeus Young finished with 11 points and seven boards.

"It was a good game for us," said Sixers head coach Maurice Cheeks. "We were trying to get in the open court, which we try to do all the time to get our hands on balls."

Dwyane Wade had 19 points and nine assists for the woeful Heat, who have lost 11 straight on the road, 21 of 22 overall and are an NBA worst 9-39 this season. Dorell Wright netted 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while Mark Blount had 15 points and 10 boards.

The Sixers came into the final frame with a three-point edge but quickly gained a little breathing room when Lou Williams opened the quarter with a pair of free throws and Reggie Evans followed with a breakaway dunk to make it a 79-72 game with 10:49 left in the game.

"He traps guys out of scoring areas, he's just non-stop; that's why he gets his hands on a lot of balls," Cheeks said of Evans. "The things that he does are contagious."

Moments later, Iguodala converted a conventional three-point play to give Philadelphia a double-digit cushion, 85-75.

The Sixers kept pulling away from there. A Green bank shot followed by two Miller free throws, with 4:41 on the clock, put Philadelphia on top by 14, 93-79.

Miami never threatened the rest of the way.

The Sixers took a 30-24 edge after the opening 12 minutes and remained the frontrunner, 50-46, at intermission.

Miami managed to see-saw back in front for a portion of the third quarter but Philadelphia closed the frame with a Rodney Carney floater and a Williams jam to take a 75-72 lead onto the final frame.
